You Don't Have To

There is no plot to this or a real ending. It just a retelling (with some difference) of an event that happened to me. I hope you enjoy.

You Don't Have To

As he followed Lance into the building, Keith wondered, why am I doing this again? He had never been to a place like this before. He wondered how Lance had even found it in the first place.

"Hey Keith," Lance turned to look at his friend over his shoulder. "We don't have to do this if you don't want to."

"No I want to."

"If you're sure." Lance turned back to face the doorman. "My friend isn't a member."

The doorman eyed Keith up and down. "He'll have to answer a few questions first." He stepped out and lead Keith into a office.

Lance had warned Keith about this. This type of club wasn't illegal but they had to be careful who they let in. People had their privacy to protect.

A blond woman sitting at a desk looked up when Keith, Lance and the doorman walked in. She was topless with a chain hanging from her pierced nipples. "Newbie?"

"Yes."

The blond shifted in her chair. "Well, I've got one question for you. Do you know what sort of club this is?"

Keith blinked. He hadn't really been expecting that question. He thought he might be asked if he was a cop or a member of the press maybe, but not if he knew what sort of club it was. "Ah..I was told this was a swing club?"

"Right answer." The blond reached across the desk and grabbed a small card. "Name?"

"Keith."

"Are you blue or green?"

Lance leaned closer to Keith. His lips barely brushed Keith's ear as he whispered. "Say green. It's more fun that way."

"Green." A tingle had gone up Keith spine when Lance had whispered in his ear. Keith didn't know what green was but he trusted Lance.

"Okay here you go." The blond handed Keith the card and a sticker name tag with a big green dot next to his name. "There are a few rules we have here. No one gets pressured here. So if someone says no once, that's the end of the conversation. Also protection is mandatory. We catch you without it, you're kicked out and not allowed back in. Ever. We run a clean place here. Anything else I'm sure your friend can answer."

Lance grabbed Keith's arm. "Come on, let me show you around." He took Keith out of the office and into the club proper. The lighting was very low. Music played lightly in the background. Several couples were seated at tables around the room.

"Lance what's with the colored dots on the name tags?"

"Does it really matter to you? You can always say no."

Keith slipped into the water. The cool water lapped gently against his stomach. He took a deep breath and sank down in the water. Once his body was totally submerged, he rose right back up again. He shook the water out of his raven locks.

He felt someone come behind him in the water. A pair of arms came up behind him and wrapped around his waist. "Why hello. I never thought I'd see you in a place like this," Lance whispered in his ear.

"What are you trying to do?"

Lance nipped at Keith's ear. "I'm trying to seduce you." He sucked lightly on Keith's earlobe. "Am I making you uncomfortable?"

"Not really." Keith breathed. He arched his back slightly as Lance began to lightly kiss the side of his neck.

"Are you sure?"

"Uh huh."

Lance grabbed on of Keith's hands and brought it up to his mouth. He covered his palm with gentle kisses. "Do you know why I brought you here? Why I really brought you here?"

"I think so."

"You don't have to do anything tonight." Lance slowly released his hold on Keith. He stepped slightly away from him. "You can say no."

Keith turned around and brought his body closer to Lance. "I didn't stop you did I?" He lifted his hand up to Lance's face. "I didn't say no."

Lance smiled at him. He covered Keith's hand with his own. "You didn't did you?"

The End

*****

Keith: That was a swing club?

Tiki: Yes it was.

Keith: Would you please explain the dots?

Tiki: Well, blue is straight single male and green is bisexual single male or female. Don't complain. I was nice this time.

Keith: (mumbles) Thank goodness for small favors.

Tiki: What was that? I can still kill you.

Keith: Nothing.

Tiki: I thought so. What did everyone think?
