Todesengel's Drag Response
"I can't believe you're making me do this!" Keith glared at Lance and
shook
the flimsy black material at him. "Why the hell did you agree to that
damn
bet anyway?"
"I don't know!" Lance glared back, temper equally as short. "I was on
pain
medication at the time!"
"This is why you don't even contemplate making bets while drugged
up!"
Keith sat down suddenly and spread the costume out in his hands. He
shuddered in disgust. "There is no way in hell that I'm doing this."
"Look, we're doing, so you have to do it." Hunk tugged on the hem of
his
outfit. "Lance, don't you think this is a little short?"
Lance shrugged. "It's supposed to be short, so I guess the shorter the
better." He tugged at his ear. "What I'm trying to figure out is how
we're
supposed to walk."
"Like this." Pidge strutted in demonstration, executed a sharp turn and
returned to his original place by the water cooler. He blushed at the
stares that were aimed in his direction. "What? It's a co-ordination
thing.
Besides, I'm used to it. I need the height, especially around you
guys."
Lance looked the shortest boy up and down. "Yeah. I suppose you would
be."
"This is such a stupid idea. You're an idiot, Lance."
"I was drugged!"
"So?" Keith shot a desperate glance at Sven. "Come on, buddy, back me
up
here. You don't want to do this either, right? Parading in front of
all
those Alliance officials, wearing this? Even if it is Halloween, I
don't
think that they're going to find this particularly acceptable."
Sven looked down, a faint blush reddening his cheeks. "I dunno. I kinda
like
it."
Keith sighed and eyed the costume again. "I can't believe this. Why'd
you
have to involve all of us in the bet?"
"Because it wouldn't work without five people. Now, are you going to
strip
or am I going to have to get Hunk to sit on you and force you to get
naked?"
Keith sighed. "No, no, I'll do it." He pulled of his shirt and folded
it
neatly, placing it on the ground before looking at Lance with
disapproving
eyes. "But really, Lance, the Spice Girls?"
Lance sighed. "Look, at least I didn't agree to have us dress up as
American
Girls, all right?" He eyed Keith speculatively. "Although I must admit
that
you would have made a great blond."
